Good use of B&W. I would have waited until the guy walking in the background passed by. Score 8.5/10 (from the Score Me! group)

Score 6/10 (from the Score Me! group) the concept is good i would suggest haveing tried to put the boy either in the right or left side of the frame rather than centered

Score 7/10 (from the Score Me! group) Its kind of distracting and stuff I would have moved in much closer to the boy.

Maybe a closer crop still keeping the scale but cutting the walking man. SCORE 7/10 (from the SCORE Me For Serious Amateurs ONLY group)

A tighter crop would have worked much better here, but otherwise well done and a nice capture. SCORE 7/10 (from the SCORE Me For Serious Amateurs ONLY group)

I agree with the others on the tighter crop and also with the second comment on moving the subject out of the center of the photo. SCORE 6/10 (from the SCORE Me For Serious Amateurs ONLY group)

** This was voted a hit from Hit, Miss, Maybe, WHY? ** Classic BW portrait. I also love how he's looking back into the picture, it really makes the composition!

This was voted a Hit from Hit, Miss, Maybe, WHY? Catching a subject in an experience that a normal human being does not usually encounter, makes this a hit. Does not mean it can't be improved greatly, though, as I'm sure you've read from the other comments.

** This was voted a maybe from Hit, Miss, Maybe, WHY? ** The shot is really interesting, and I do like it. I just wish the subject wasn't framed as it is. the tree being that close to center is distracting and leaves a large uniteresting area to the left. -- Seen next to a fellow photo of Hit, Miss, Maybe, WHY?.
